  • Confidentiality: All complaints are handled with strict confidentiality to protect the privacy of all parties involved.

Conflict of Interest Policy

  • Definition: A conflict of interest arises when personal or financial interests may unduly influence the performance of duties within ICCPAE’s programs, compromising the integrity and fairness of decisions.

  • Procedure: Staff, instructors, or any party involved in the ICCPAE programs are required to disclose any conflicts of interest at the earliest opportunity. Failure to disclose may result in disciplinary action.

  • Resolution: In cases of conflict, ICCPAE will appoint a neutral third party to review the matter and provide an objective resolution, ensuring fairness to all parties.

Enquiry About Results Policy

  • Procedure: Students or parents/guardians wishing to inquire about exam results or performance assessments may do so by contacting ICCPAE via email.

  • Response Time: All result-related inquiries will be acknowledged within 48 hours and addressed within 7 working days.

  • Review Process: In line with the examination body's policies, students have the right to request a formal review of their results if they believe an error has been made. A review request must be submitted within 14 days of receiving the results. ICCPAE will then follow the guidelines set by the examining body (e.g., LAMDA) to ensure that the review is conducted impartially and in accordance with their rules.

  • Independent Review: An independent assessor, as designated by the examination body, will be appointed to conduct the review. This process ensures the integrity, fairness, and transparency of the results.

  • Outcome: Once the review is completed, the final decision will be communicated to the student/guardian within 30 working days or according to the timeline outlined by the examination body. This decision will be binding and final.

Malpractice and Maladministration Policy

  • Definition: Malpractice includes any act of cheating, deception, or fraudulent activity by a student or staff member that compromises the integrity of assessments or the institution. Maladministration refers to mismanagement or neglect in the administration of exams or teaching processes.

  • Prevention: All online lessons are recorded, and CCTV is installed in drama studios to provide evidence of misconduct or malpractice.

  • Reporting: Any suspected cases of malpractice or maladministration should be reported to the Director, Mr. Mohsin Khan. Investigations will be conducted promptly.

  • Investigation: Evidence from online recordings and CCTV footage will be used in the investigation. Disciplinary action will be taken if misconduct is proven, including potential expulsion for students or termination for staff members.

Safeguarding and Arrangements to Prevent and Investigate Misconduct

  • Safeguarding Measures: ICCPAE is committed to creating a safe and secure learning environment, both online and on-site. For online lessons, all sessions are recorded to monitor for any misconduct. For on-site lessons, CCTV cameras are installed in drama studios for continuous monitoring.

  • CCTV cameras are deactivated during examinations and masterclasses to prevent any potential breaches of data protection regulations. During examinations, the protocols and guidelines established by the examining bodies are strictly adhered to, ensuring compliance with child protection standards. In masterclasses involving copyrighted content, a designated ICCPAE staff member is assigned to oversee and enforce strict adherence to child protection protocols and the protection of intellectual property rights.

  • Prevention of Misconduct: ICCPAE’s Code of Conduct is strictly aligned with state policies on POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) to ensure the safety of all students and staff, particularly in cases involving harassment or the protection of minors.

  • Reporting Misconduct: Any breach of the Code of Conduct must be reported to ICCPAE management. Prompt action will be taken to investigate and address any allegations in accordance with the law.

  • Investigation Process: In the event of alleged misconduct, ICCPAE will launch an investigation using available recordings (from online sessions) or CCTV footage (from on-site locations). An impartial investigation committee will be formed to assess the evidence and provide a verdict.

  • Action: If misconduct is confirmed, appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken in accordance with the severity of the violation, including possible legal action where applicable under POSH or POCSO.
