Acceptance of Terms
By participating in the ICCPAE Monologue Competition ("the Competition"), each participant agrees to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions, along with all related rules, regulations, and guidelines. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

Eligibility
The Competition is open to participants aged 8-22, categorized as follows: Category A (8-12 years), Category B (12-16 years), and Category C (17-22 years). Participants must provide accurate age, school, and contact information upon registration. Misrepresentation may lead to disqualification.

1. Copyright and Intellectual Property

   • Submissions must adhere to copyright and intellectual property laws. Participants guarantee their monologue and performance are original, public domain, or they have secured necessary performance rights.

   • All submitted videos become ICCPAE property, granting ICCPAE full rights to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, and display for promotional, educational, and archival purposes.

   • Participants grant ICCPAE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the video across all media for up to 5 years, including digital and print, without further permission or compensation.

   • Participants retain ownership of original content, but ICCPAE may use submitted videos for Competition promotion, documentation, and advertising.

2. Parental/Guardian Consent
   Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian’s consent to enter the Competition. By submitting a video, participants (and their parents or guardians, where applicable) agree that:

   • The participant has permission to enter the Competition.

   • Parents or guardians consent to the use of the participant’s name, likeness, voice, and video in all promotional materials related to the Competition.

3. Content Standards

   • Submissions must be appropriate, containing no obscene language, inappropriate content, nudity, or any material ICCPAE deems unsuitable. ICCPAE reserves the right to disqualify or remove any video not meeting these standards without notice.

4. Data Protection and Privacy

   • ICCPAE collects personal information solely for administering the Competition. By entering, participants (or parents/guardians) consent to this data collection and use, in line with the following:

     • Personal data will be used only for Competition management and not shared with third parties except as required for Competition-related activities.

     • ICCPAE will take all reasonable steps to securely store and protect personal data.

     • Participants (and parents/guardians) may request access to or deletion of their personal data by contacting [insert ICCPAE contact information].

5. Limitation of Liability
   ICCPAE is not liable for:

   • Technical issues preventing video submission.

   • Incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed submissions.

   • Loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the Competition, except where due to ICCPAE’s gross negligence.

   • Copyright or intellectual property breaches by participants; it is participants’ responsibility to ensure submissions do not infringe third-party rights.

6. Disqualification
   ICCPAE may disqualify any participant or submission at its discretion if:

   • The video fails to meet Competition standards.

   • False or misleading information is provided.

   • Any law violation or conduct that could bring the Competition into disrepute occurs.

7. Prizes and Awards
   ICCPAE’s decisions on winners are final and binding. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable unless explicitly stated by ICCPAE. Prizes may be modified or substituted at ICCPAE’s discretion due to unforeseen circumstances.

8. Publicity
   By participating, entrants (and parents/guardians, where applicable) agree to the use of the participant’s name, likeness, and performance in promotional materials, press releases, and ICCPAE’s social media.

9. Changes to the Competition
   ICCPAE reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition without prior notice due to technical issues, legal requirements, or other circumstances beyond its control.

10. Governing Law
    The Competition and these terms are governed by the laws of [insert jurisdiction], with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [insert location].
